EDPA experience includes statewide economic development marketing planning and implementation, image marketing, public relations and communications, issues management.
Developed and managed national and international media relations plan for economic development in Alabama.
Managed implementation of the Mercedes (Rosewood) marketing program, created in 1994 and designed to use Mercedes to promote Alabama as a business location.
Advice and counsel to communities and other organizations in the state on marketing and communications, including assistance with planning and evaluation of current programs.
Instrumental in developing automotive branding strategy for state of Alabama in 1990s.
Worked closely with new companies coming into Alabama on communications issues.
Spokesperson for EDPA and Alabama in state, regional, national and international media.
Guest speaker at numerous conferences, meetings, civic and leadership groups with presentations on wide range of economic development issues including economic development marketing.
Also involved over the years in initiatives in the areas of existing industry, workforce development, community development, tourism development and strategic planning.
