Dedicated engine plants in the state include:
Navistar Diesel of Alabama (produces V-6 and V-8 diesel engines along with thethe MaxxForce® 5, MaxxForce® 7 and 6.4 liter Power Stroke Diesel engine for Ford Motor Company.)
Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc. (produces V-8 engines for its Tundra pickup truck and Sequoia SUV and V-6 engines for the Tacoma and Tundra pickup trucks.)
