EDPA experience includes statewide economic development marketing planning and implementation, image marketing, public relations and communications, issues management.

• Developed and managed national and international media relations plan for economic development in Alabama.
• Managed implementation of the Mercedes (Rosewood) marketing program, created in 1994 and designed to use Mercedes to promote Alabama as a business location.
• Advice and counsel to communities and other organizations in the state on marketing and communications, including assistance with planning and evaluation of current programs.
• Instrumental in developing automotive branding strategy for state of Alabama in 1990s.
• Worked closely with new companies coming into Alabama on communications issues.
• Spokesperson for EDPA and Alabama in state, regional, national and international media.
• Guest speaker at numerous conferences, meetings, civic and leadership groups with presentations on wide range of economic development issues including economic development marketing.
