AdvantageSitePreparation (1) About Menu

AdvantageSite is a voluntary industrial site preparedness program created to make the state more competitive for companies considering a location in Alabama. Since the program’s start in 2008, 55 projects have located on AdvantageSites across the state, investing more than $2.8 billion and creating over 7,700 new jobs.

Alabama currently has 60 active AdvantageSites throughout the state.

AdvantageSite, managed by the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama, is a joint effort between the private sector and state and local governments whose objective is to prepare and deliver products and materials for industrial prospects.

Eligible applicants for AdvantageSite designation include local economic development organizations, industrial development agencies, public authorities, chambers of commerce, and, in some cases, municipal and county governments that register as program participants and agree to the terms of participation in the program.
